With headquarters in Europe, multiple international subsidiaries and a global partner network spanning over 100 countries, the company combines innovation, quality and long-term customer partnerships worldwide.

LOCATION: Brisbane Metro and North, Queensland, Australia.

THE ROLE:
An established international industrial products manufacturer, our client is expanding its Australian operations and is seeking an Area Sales Manager to play a key role in building and growing its presence nationwide. This is a rare opportunity for a self-driven sales professional who is excited by the challenge of developing a business from the ground up while being supported by a long-standing, globally recognised brand.
In this autonomous, field-based role, you will take ownership of an assigned territory, focusing on both new business development and the growth of existing customer relationships. The company’s high-performance industrial adhesives, sealants, technical sprays and assembly products are used across virtually every industry, offering a broad, diverse and engaging customer base. You will work closely with maintenance, manufacturing, repair and production customers, delivering tailored commercial and technical solutions that add real value to their operations.
Your day-to-day activities will include proactively prospecting and developing new customers, managing relationships with distributors and end users, and conducting regular face-to-face visits, product demonstrations and trials. You will plan and execute daily sales activities, including customer calls and cold prospecting, deliver product training sessions and technical presentations, and represent the business at trade shows, industry events and networking opportunities. Accurate maintenance of customer data, activity reports and sales pipeline information will be essential to your success.
This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact, build lasting customer partnerships, and grow alongside a newly established Australian operation backed by international expertise, innovation and quality.

YOUR PROFILE:
You are a motivated and results-driven sales professional with proven experience in external sales within an industrial or manufacturing environment. Experience working with technical products such as adhesives, sealants, chemicals or MRO solutions will be highly regarded, but your ability to understand products quickly and communicate their value is just as important. You are confident in generating leads, opening doors and creating new business opportunities through a proactive and disciplined approach.
You bring strong communication and relationship-building skills, allowing you to establish trust with a wide range of stakeholders, from distributors to end users on the factory floor. With a solid technical aptitude, you are comfortable explaining product applications and proposing practical, value-added solutions tailored to customer needs. You thrive in an autonomous, field-based environment, managing your time effectively and taking ownership of your territory.
Highly organised and self-motivated, you are driven by achieving results and enjoy negotiating, problem-solving and closing opportunities. You are comfortable travelling regularly within your territory and hold a valid Australian driver’s licence. Above all, you are enthusiastic about joining a growing business where your initiative, independence and commercial mindset will have a genuine and lasting impact.

ON OFFER:
This role offers competitive remuneration in alignment with experience. This is an opportunity to join the foundation team of an expanding Australian operation, backed by a well-established and internationally respected European brand, with comprehensive onboarding and ongoing technical training, modern sales and marketing tools, long-term career development opportunities, a supportive start-up environment within a stable, family-owned global business, and a vehicle allowance plus fully provided IT equipment.
