THE ROLE:
The primary objective of this role is to position the company as the supplier of choice for piping products in Western Australia and the Northern Territory. This will be achieved by proactively engaging key market players and aligning tailored solutions to meet the distinct needs of regional projects. You will be responsible for market development by establishing and expanding the company’s presence through targeted strategic marketing, active industry engagement, and comprehensive client networking. In addition, you will focus on client acquisition and retention by identifying and securing new business opportunities with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firms, operators, fabricators, and service providers.
Managing the full sales cycle is a critical aspect of the role. This includes everything from generating leads and developing proposals to negotiating contracts and closing deals in order to achieve defined revenue targets. You will also play a vital role in partnership building, cultivating long-term relationships with key stakeholders, and forging alliances with distributors and project consultants.
Further, your strategic insight will be essential as you analyse market data, monitor competitor activity, and assess project pipelines to refine business development strategies. As the organisation grows, you will contribute to the future development of the Western Australia team by supporting recruitment initiatives and building internal capabilities based on your demonstrated success.

YOUR PROFILE:
You are a proactive and solutions-focused professional with a collaborative approach to decision-making. You anticipate challenges, take initiative, and offer innovative ideas that go beyond standard offerings. Adaptable and resilient, you thrive in dynamic environments and respond positively to change.
With strong business acumen, you align your efforts with company goals and client needs, using resources efficiently to drive results. You’re self-motivated, accountable, and engaged in both individual and team performance.
Your technical and commercial expertise includes knowledge of piping specifications. You have a proven track record in securing Tier-1 supply contracts and leading end-to-end business development in the steel piping sector.
Customer-centric and highly organised, you build lasting relationships, manage priorities effectively, and communicate clearly across teams and systems. Your mindset is solution-oriented and growth-focused, contributing meaningfully to team success and client satisfaction.
