PRODUCT MARKETING SPECIALIST

THE ROLE:

As a Product Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and updating product content across various platforms, including e-commerce websites/portals and industry listings. You will establish best practices for content creation, distribution, and maintenance and serve as a subject matter expert for your assigned product categories. In addition, you will identify SEO best practices regarding inventory, pre-orders, and pricing policies to improve online visibility and increase revenue. You will monitor and report changes in product sales and make considered recommendations to improve product performance. Other responsibilities include conducting market research, monitoring product launches of rival companies, briefing marketing communications teams on new product releases, and managing product phase-in/phase-out processes. You will also be responsible for performing product training and demonstrations for customers, staff, and other stakeholders, and managing Wilo UK’s installer loyalty scheme, customer data, and price lists. Finally, you will support the development of business plans, identify new market opportunities, and support Wilo UK’s digital strategy. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing concepts and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

YOUR PROFILE:​

  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms and industry listings, with experience in managing product content and listings.

  • Ability to identify opportunities and establish best practices for content creation, distribution, and maintenance.

  • Subject matter expertise in assigned product categories, with a keen eye for market trends and customer preferences.

  • Understanding of SEO best practices, including the ability to optimize inventory, pre-orders, and pricing policies to increase online visibility and revenue.

  • Analytical skills, with the ability to monitor and report changes in product sales, and make recommendations to improve performance.

  • Experience in conducting market research, including surveys, desktop research, and customer outreach.

  • Knowledge of competitor products and launches, with the ability to assess market positioning and recommend improvements.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to brief marketing communications teams and external agencies on new product releases.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage product phase-in/phase-out processes, and perform product training and demonstrations.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and the ability to manipulate and segment customer data for marketing activities.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

A qualification in Marketing or associated area is preferred but not essential as work experience within relevant roles is considered equivalent.

ON OFFER:

Salary in the range of 35,000 GBP (negotiable on experience).
